Do you believe any old wise tales or superstitions like these? Why or why not? Where did the breaking a mirror superstition originate?

I dont believe them, but i have heard of them all my life. I am not sure that any of my family believes it, but it is possible.I think that is stupid. If i break a mirror then it was an accident and 7 yrs of bad luck is not true> I believe that i have broken a mirror and i havent had any bad luck that i am aware of. Other people have different believes so yeah. It orginated from different times and different places.
